Halgerda carlsoni

Rudman, 1978

Christopher Thorn Seems like Halgerda carlsoni (Rudman, 1978) to me. Her Jie, Taiwan. 20 m. 20 mm.

Gary Cobb Nice critter! You put brackets around the author and date! These should not be here. They are only there when a scientist proves the the genus is different.

Christopher Thorn Was unaware of that...

Christopher Thorn ...and can see no option to edit, sorry.

Gary Cobb That happens....just keeping you informed.

Christopher Thorn appreciated, thank you.

Bonar Sitohang found at Candidasa, Bali, Indonesia.

Roy Arthur David Lontoh Halgerda batangas?

Gary Cobb Halgerda batangas is characterised by tubercles with an orange-red tip and a mantle colour pattern consisting of a network of solid red-orange lines. So I would say this is Halgerda carlsoni Rudman, 1978

Roy Arthur David Lontoh Thanks for sharing Gary :)

Bonar Sitohang thanks a lot, buddies!

Roy Arthur David Lontoh Halgerda batangas, found @19m, length: 30mm. Dive site: Windows. Location: Gorontalo - Indonesia.

Sven Kahlbrock Looks more like Halgerda cf kahlsonii, cause batangas have small dots and no stripes on the back

Sven Kahlbrock but a nice shot ;-)

Roy Arthur David Lontoh Sven...thank you for the correct ID :-)

Arantxa Di Mare I think it's Halgerda batangas which has a mantle colour pattern consisting of a network of solid red-orange lines and Halgerda carlsoni has the scattering of small orange specks all over the mantle between the tubercles ( The sea slug forum)... :)
