Can anyone help with this one please? Seen on the Volnay, Lizard on Saturday (yes we were desperate) at around 20m.Claire Goodwin That looks like one of our Hymedesmia sp (coriacea complex) possibly same species as Rob's new purple species Emily Priestley has collected some samples of it from Cornwall already. However, it loos very thick - was it Chris? I'd be interested in samples if anyone is heading back that way. There is a Mediterranean species Phorbas tenacior which I wouldn't be surprised if turns up here and this is very similar in appearance.
