Jace Green Hi, Does anyone have an I.D on this little fella please? I've not found it in any books or online.
Found at 15 Metres, Gili Trawangan, Indonesia.
5-7mm in length.
Alex Tyrrell Hi Jace, looks like an undescribed species of Aeolid Nudibranch, Antonietta sp. - from Reef Creature ID
Frank Krasovec Could use some help with this one as well. 28Feb2012 Dauin, Philippines; Atlantic House Reef; extimate 20' dp. Guessing around 10mm OAL. Closest I can come is Noumeaella sp. Other thoughts?
Gary Cobb This is Antonietta janthina Baba & Hamatani, 1977 and it took me about 30 seconds to find this ID using the Indo Pacific Nudibranch ID App.
Gary Cobb Typically with a purple body it can have a very pale body as well.
Frank Krasovec Thanks, Gary. Using an App requires one to have a smart phone. As an old fart, I haven't taken that step.
Kati Burg White nudibranch, Romblon Island, Philippines
ID help, please.
Franca Wermuth-Vezzoli Interesting!
Lucas CerCur Kathrin, do you have more photos of this guy?
Lucas CerCur I would like to see details or rhinophores and oral tentacles, if possible, as well as a mor dorsal view.

Lucas CerCur Thank you.
Lucas CerCur However, it would be interesting to test if this species belongs to the same species of Antonietta luteorufa, the type species of the genus.
Lucas CerCur Unfortunately, A. luteorufa Schmekel, 1968 has been not recorded from its original description from the Gulf of Naples.
