Pat Gunderson Thanks Ron I guess my notes are wrong.
Ron Silver Not necessarily. What do you have?
Pat Gunderson Chromodoris sp 19
Ron Silver Where (or more importantly, who) did that designation come from? I'm fairly certain this is C. collingwoodi.
Pat Gunderson I was at Villa Markisa, and I can't remember for sure but I think it was Christiane that told me this was sp 19 (colored like this because it was a juvenile, I think it was relatively tiny because I was using my 105 + teleconverter). I don't know though as nudibranchs from this area are all new to me.
Pat Gunderson I was also there with Mike Miller, check out this link, his photos were taken on the same dive. http://slugsite.us/bow2007/nudwk821.htm He raises an interesting question.
Ron Silver Miller's reference to C. sp 19 appears to be to the other nudi (the right hand side) rather than C. collingwoodi.

Rico Besserdich f/7.1 ?? awesome !!
Giorgio Cavallaro Perfect pic!
Adriano Morettin Beautiful !!!
Henry Jager @Rico: Yes 7,1. The close up lense helps a lot for a nice bokeh despite slightly closed aperture.
Ernst Andres Ich könnte ja nun viele Worte schreiben zu dieser Aufnahme von Dir Henry,....aber wenn ich sage, das dies ein mit ruhiger Hand geführter Klasseshot ist weißt Du was ich meine !
Maurice Hein Can anyone help me identify this beautiful nudibranch i found several times near the liberty wreck at Tulamben, Bali. Depth around 20-25m.
Maurice Hein Thanks for the quick help on this one. It is a Chromodoris collingwoodi.
Patrik Good Southport Seaway Nightdive, 9/1/2012, 3 metres, about 30mm. Couldn't with the colours in the online databases.
Patrik Good couldn't find an ID based on these colours
Ashley Missen Looks like you might have a new one
Patrik Good How shall I call it for the moment and the stats, Chromodoris sp.?
Gary Cobb This a colour form of Chromodoris collingwoodi Rudman, 1987
Patrik Good Thank you, Gary. One day, I'll know how you got to this ID. Colourforms are too tricky for me. On all the pictures I have got of this individual it looks as if it had some deformity of the tail.
Patrik Good Gary Cobb, do you remember the book and page you found this colourform?
Gary Cobb No sorry Patrik but will try to find it again:(
