Ex Liao talima at 15ft while making a safety stop, about .5cm long

Blogie Robillo Thuridilla lineolata. Haven't seen this one yet!

Ex Liao Blogie Robillo is this a nudi or a sea slug?

Blogie Robillo Technically it's not a nudi, but it is a sea slug.

Tan Pee Pheng unknown Nudibranch Canon PowerShot G12 with sea&sea Ys110 manual setting f/8 1/2000S ISO 100 location Malaspascua Island

Ron Silver This is a Sapsucking Slug, Thuridilla lineolata

Tan Pee Pheng thank you Ron I cant find it in the book

Ron Silver which book?

Tan Pee Pheng Nudibranchs Encyclopedia

Ron Silver This is technically an opisthobranch so your book may be limited to just nudibranchs.

Tan Pee Pheng are you saying that this is actually a slug and not nudibranch?

Ron Silver They're all slugs but are classified into different categories. Nudibranch means naked gill and opisthobranch means right-sided gill.

Blogie Robillo Help with ID, pls? This is a species of Thuridilla, yeah? Length abt 2cm; depth 28m @ Marissa 1 dive site

Ashley Missen Thuridilla ??

Blogie Robillo Yeah? It looks somewhat like Thuridilla lineolata, but not really... http://www.nudipixel.net/species/thuridilla_lineolata/

Gary Cobb This looks like a colour form of Thuridilla splendens

Gary Cobb This species is very variable!

Blogie Robillo I see. Thanks, Gary!

Jim Anderson Thuridilla sp. ? 28 mm animal at 13 m, Diani, Kenya - Nov 2012

Marli Wakeling Thuridilla indopacifica, I believe.

Gary Cobb I think this is Thuridilla lineolata. This animal is a mutant and has an extension to the anterior parapodia. Surprised this animal dose not have two heads!

João Pedro Silva Either it's a folded extension of the left parapodium or... it has a second head out of the right rhinophore... or it's just a Halloween costume :) I'm more inclined towards the first.

Gary Cobb I'd go with extension to the anterior end of the parapodia
