Gary Cobb And to top it all off while we were diving Flinders Reef Moreton Island we found our 500th species! That's 500 species of Nudibranch recorded and photographed in 8 years and 11 months on the Sunshine Coast Queensland. Aegires exeches Fahey & Gosliner, 2004 4-3-3mm long, 3 were found!

Gary Cobb Thanks guys for your kind words! We were really trying to see if we could get 500 before the trip and our 9 year anniversary of Nudibranch.com.au...YAHOO! Jallamani!

Geoffrey Van Damme 10mm 5mtr Blairgowrie, no idea of id.

Brendan Oonk Could it be Aegires punctilucens?

Gary Cobb This is Aegires exeches Fahey & Gosliner, 2004 known for its tiny blue spots. http://www.nudibranch.com.au/pages/G_0345b.htm

Geoffrey Van Damme Thankyou very much for id.

Gary Cobb My pleasure!

João Pedro Silva Maybe the most cryptic of the nudibranchs one can find in Portugal. I've only seen it twice and still have no idea on how I could find them in the first place.

Gary Cobb Here in southern Queensland we find Aegires exeches and it is interesting what Bill Rudman has to say...http://www.seaslugforum.net/find/14248

Gary Cobb Very interesting.

João Pedro Silva Haven't these two species been sequenced yet?

Gary Cobb I don't think so Joao.
