Gary Curtis "Night Reef" Caribbean reef shark (Carcharhinus perezii) is a species of requiem shark, family Carcharhinidae. Like other requiem sharks, it is viviparous with females giving birth to 4"6 young every other year, with healthy populations in the protected waters of the Bahamas.
