Gary Curtis "Night Reef" Caribbean reef shark (Carcharhinus perezii) is a species of requiem shark, family Carcharhinidae. Like other requiem sharks, it is viviparous with females giving birth to 4â€"6 young every other year, with healthy populations in the protected waters of the Bahamas.
