David Salmanowitz Pom Pom crab (Lybia tesselatta) taken in Anilao last June.

Ken Thongpila Wow! you can see this guy in Anilao too. Cool! Nice photos too David :-)

David Salmanowitz Thanks Ken. You will be amazed what you can see in Anilao!

Ken Thongpila How u get this shot David?

David Salmanowitz Nikon D700, 105mm macro, 2 Inon Z-240 strobes, Nauticam housing. Shot quickly as it was moving quickly. :-)

Babička Lála David Salmanowitz : our plan is 5 days pandan + 5 days anilao. i am very stupid isn´t it ??? so short time for anilao... but other divers in our group aren´t macro lovers us me :-(( i start thinking about an extension ticket...

Evie Go Anilao is showing some very nice critters recently...Amazing Anilao! =D

Ken Thongpila When r u going Babička?

Babička Lála 11/11 Ken. and 5/12 lembeh. ...or 4/12 anilao again??? :-)

Uwe Schmolke Great shot of this nice crab on a beautiful structured background!

David Salmanowitz @Babicka--5 days and you might wish you were there longer! I have been there maybe 9 times, and always good stuff. This last visit was the slowest for me critter wise, but still things to photograph. The Niger triggerfish (Odonus niger) was as plentiful as I have ever seen in Anilao, hundreds of them so conditions were obviously right for it. Nature is always hit or miss what will happen. Last year nudibranch wise was unbelievable. A friend counted 285 species in 10 days, and 50 were ones she had never seen--and she is a PhD nudi person who has seen far more than me. @Uwe--sometimes we get lucky with the background. :-) I am always searching good backgrounds in u/w as well as topside photography.
