Ron Silver Appears to be Mushroom coral,
Heliofungia actiniformis. The brown spots are Acoel flatworms, Waminoa sp.1.
Seungchul Yang Thanks so much! I thought that ladder is mushroom coral because I have a reef tank and we frequently say this coral is long tip plate coral. We are amateur, I will study more.
Ron Silver Common names are next to meaningless, but long tip plate coral is the same coral,

David Salmanowitz Not actually an eel or an anemone. It is in the pipefish family,
Siokunichthys nigrolineatus and it always seems to be found in a coral named
Heliofungia actiniformis. Yes, always a challenge to get these guys as the polyps sway back and forth hiding the body and they are swimming around. Congratulations are in order. :-)

Chuck Dreyfus I've always called them mushroom coral pipefish.
David Salmanowitz Chuck--ok, makes sense as I think common name of the coral is mushroom coral--I just learned it as a heliofungia first and that is what has always stuck in my memory.
Chris Spence I have some shots of this pipefish but not half as good as this! As David said they are extremely hard to photo as they move very fast!

Kay Burn Lim Rivo, heheh... I remember it. I gave up on this guy after 10 minutes as I had nothing yet in my portfolio for the comp.... and I remember Edo vomited after spending the whole dive on this guy with two diopters! :D
