DeeDee Flores ok just wanted to clarify
John Chandler In the late 90's we were accustomed to seeing anemone of varying colors. My research then revealed the color was dependent on an algae that lived in symbiosis on the tentacles of the anemone giving it is color. As the waters of the Western Pacific warmed and effected coral growth I noticed a decline in this type of anemone to the point of not seeing them anymore. This image was taken in 1998 in the Kerama Islands.
