Michael Sterken shark dreams...

Stefan Follows Michael the day after this shot there was a Whale Shark on site...Doh!!

Michael Sterken I have not yet seen a whale shark. Definitely on my bucket list.

Stefan Follows I'm a lucky boy as Sail Rock is one of the best sites in Thailand for the Big Spotty One and I get to see them very often. However, I'm usually with customers so no camera!

Michael Sterken They congregate near Isle Mujeres in the Caribbean starting in June for a couple of months. I have heard there can be hundreds. Also many Rays. Sadly it has become very commercialized over the past decade. Now the whale sharks are often hit with propellers since they often feed near the surface. I suppose I will still go despite the crowd.

Galina Maslova I did not see them

Kitty ScubaKitty Yummmm... Just kidding ;) Great shot!!!

Stefan Follows Michael seen many shots over the past year or two from Isle Mujeres. Makes me feel sad as I was there 12 years ago before anyone knew about the aggregation so no Sharks for me! It does feel a bit like cheating but not as bad as Kenya where they send up microlight aircraft to spot the sharks then drop divers in front of them! Sail Rock is a pure lottery but with good odds which I think makes the experience a little more special. Kitty, ha ha ha. Thanks ;)

Stuart Pearce Great shot :)

Ernst Andres Oh WOOOW !!! 4 me…..TOP SHOT (Y)

Stefan Follows thanks all :))
