Chlamys islandica

Erling Svensen I am on a scientific cruise in the north of Norway. Quite interesting that there is a symbiosis between a sponge and the mussel Chlamys islandica. Had hundreds of them today in a nice wall close to Narvik city. The pictures shows one with sponge, and one without.
