Eunicella gazella

Studer, 1878

João Pedro Silva Forgot to processe this one. An unidentified shrimp on Eunicella gazella shot on a night dive in the Algarve approx. -17m. Water temp. was 15ºC (no need to check the computer, this temperature in southern Portugal in August got literally frozen in my memory). Any idea on ID?

Marco Faasse Looks like a Processa. Usually these are bottom dwellers burrowing by day, only coming out at night.

João Pedro Silva Thanks, Marco! I often find Processa on the bottom but thought this was different. This Processa sp. was shot during the same dive: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jpsilva1971/7817043716/
